The Maternal Health Clinic, established by Union Hospital in 1978, is a maternity clinic. It serves as the community safety net to assure that compassionate family centered prenatal and birth care is available to all pregnant women in the Wabash Valley regardless of financial status.

NO ONE IS EXCLUDED BASED ON THE INABILITY TO PAY
Clinic fees are on a sliding scale determined by client resources and family size. Medicaid is accepted, and assistance with the application process is available. We are a WIC application site, and vouchers can be processed from our location.

Population served: All women of reproductive age regardless of financial status. Well Woman care available by Certified Nurse Midwives to all women at their Maple Center office (812) 235-4867.

The Maternal Health Clinic (MHC) is staffed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
